What is disc golf?
Disc golf is a rapidly growing sport worldwide, and for good reason. It's easy to get started, the equipment is inexpensive, and most courses in Sweden are free to play. You can play with others or against yourself.
The game has the same basic idea as regular golf or minigolf: you have to get from a certain point (depth) to a target (golf basket) in as few throws as possible. It's important to navigate obstacles such as trees and bushes in varying wind conditions. The hole, the golf basket, consists of a metal platform with a round basket and chains hanging above the basket. The chains slow the disc down and then drop it into the basket.
Discs can be rented from the reception at Rådastrands Camping.
